I gave my speakeasy and cocktail bar opinions recently, so I have to add by beer ones as well!! I am a IPA, Stout, Belgium kind of of guy with a side of Pilsner! So where to start…..

  • Glory Beer Bar & Kitchen – A bonus to boot. All the music is played from vinyl.
  • Monk’s Cafe – Offering an extensive selection of Belgian beers and delicious dishes like mussels, steak frites, and pommes frites.
  • Standard Tap – Neighborhood tavern that offers great beer and food. They offer beer selections with a vast array of styles crafted by breweries located in Pennsylvania, New Jersey & Delaware
  • Frankford Hall – “Prost!” German biergarten
  • Independence Beer Garden – Expansive 20,000 square-foot beer garden overlooking the Liberty Bell and Independence National Historic Park.
  • Brauhaus Schmitz – German Bierhalls with over 34 German beers on draft and over 50 in bottles. Plus German Food to boot!
  • PHS Pop Up Garden at South Street – Not just beer, but a spacious and beautiful outdoor garden open for fun, food and drink.
